Scheduling Courses

Only Training Admins can schedule a course.

Venues

Before you can schedule any courses you will need to add at least one venue. Only Training Admins can view the venues page.

To view venues, from the top menu, select Training - Courses - Course Venues.

Adding a Venue

To add a venue, from the top menu, select Training - Courses - Course Venues. Only Training Admins can add new venues.

  • Click Add New Record.
  • Fill out the venue information.
  • Click Insert.
  • Click Cancel to cancel adding a venue.

Editing a Venue

To add a venue, from the top menu, select Training - Courses - Course Venues. Only Training Admins can edit venues.

  • Click the pencil icon next to the venue you wish to edit.
  • Fill out the venue information.
  • Click Update.
  • Click Cancel to cancel adding a venue.

Scheduling Courses

Only Training Admins can schedule a course. To schedule a course, from the top menu, select Training - Courses - Schedule a Course.

  • Select the course and venue, enter the tutors name and enter a start and end date and time. Enter the maximum number of attendees.
  • If you wish to add any staff at this point you can filter the staff list to pick attendees.
    • First tick the venues from the menu on the left that you wish to select staff from.
    • Select the filter you wish to use
      • Expired will show all staff at selected venues whose training has expired or never been completed.
      • Expired and Expiring soon will also include any staff whose training expires in 30 days.
      • Unexpired, Expired and Expiring soon will include all staff who need to do this training regardless off if it has expired or not.
      • All Staff will include all staff from selected venues.
  • Click "Add" next to staff names to add them to the course
  • Highlight staff and click Remove Selected Staff to remove them from the course.
  • Click Submit to finish scheduling the course and to save it.
  • Click Cancel to cancel scheduling the course.

Managing Scheduled Courses

To view scheduled courses, from the top menu, select Training - Courses - Scheduled Courses.

From here you will see a list of scheduled courses and how many spaces are available on each course.

Deleting Scheduled Courses

only Training Admins can delete a scheduled course. To delete a scheduled course;

  • From the top menu, select Training - Courses - Scheduled Courses.
  • At the bottom of the page enter the code displayed in the CAPTCHA image.
  • Enter the booking ID of the course you wish to delete, the booking ID can be found in the list above.
  • Click Cancel Course.

Editing Scheduled Courses

To edit a scheduled course click on "Book Staff" next to the course you wish to edit, if you are a Training Admin then as well as being able to book staff on the course you will be able to edit the course detail.

Complete a Course

Only Training Admins can complete a course. To complete a course, click on "Complete Course" next to the scheduled course that you wish to complete. On the following page select the date the course was completed and tick everyone who attended the course, clicking "Complete Course" will then update the training records for all attendees.

Course Register

To print a course register click "Regsiter" next to the scheduled course.
